HOPE updates January 2015

God has been very good in taking care of us and providing for us all our needs. These past months we have have seen God’s providence in an amazing way and also new opportunities for our children and protection.
Rice and provisions
We need 300kgs of rice every month. God provided 400kgs through some friends whom we never met before. We had 40 kgs of rice which would be consumed in 4 days. God’s timing is perfect and quantity he provides us is also more than what we would use in a month.
God has again provided some more provisions that will go on for this month also.
Provisions
A sister who got her first salary, gave an offering to buy provisions for the children. she is a new friend and her offering is first time to HOPE. God brings people to meet our needs , re assuring that He is always in control of our circumstances.
Christmas
We had wonderful Christmas.God has been very good and provided special gifts for children and new clothes. Children invited their friends and we had good time of worship and sharing of the Christmas story with them.
Studies
Children are doing well in their studies and improving. The new curriculum requires all the children to do lots of projects learning through doing. Its very good for children and bringing their creativity out. Making village and city models, write up with pictures of Nobel prize winners, favorite actors and why they like them a,water conservation and much more.. these are making them think what they are learning.
Abhishek
Abhishek is 15 years old. We brought him to our home when he was 4 years old from streets. He is very bright and interested in electronics (repair and remake)… he also likes Aeroplanes… Some of our friends from another NGO organised a special awareness and field trip to airport.
God is so good. He gave Abhishek opportunity to meet the flight training in charge and also a free tour of Hyderabad in training flight. The pilot explained to him how Aero planes fly and what he needs to study in order to become a pilot.
He enjoyed the flight a lot and his desire to become a pilot more stronger. He wants to work hard towards that.
 Special Gift
When promised support does'nt come or support from one source stops unexpectedly. God is God he will remain Good God.He cares for his children sends support in amazing ways.  God sent special gift in the month of November to meet special needs.

This is an answer to our prayers and increased needs. Increase in rents, transportation fee, need 2 computers for children and a two wheeler for home. Musical instruments for children.
A friend asked children to write what gift they wanted for christmas - they wrote on a piece of paper and on 24th night they had a surprise !

Two wheeler

We bought a TVS - moped, small bike which our college going kids can use to go to market or buy groceries. Its a great blessing. Praise God.

Blankets & Sweaters

Praise God this November and December temperatures dropped very low and God in his kindness provided new blankets and sweaters for children.

Accident and Protection

I met with accident in the month of December, I was hit by a car on a (moula ali) flyover, fell of my bike my helmet was gone. but I escaped with scraped skin and again in January 2015 I fell, God has been very gracious in protecting me . I escaped with minor injuries. God provided for the medical expenses too.

some of our children fell ill too with viral fever, God provided for medicines and healed them too.Praise God.

HOPE family is grateful to you for your prayers and generous giving. We praise God for you gifts and support.

Thank you for sharing your Love with HOPE children.May God bless you and your family.

You are in our prayers.

Statue! Tomato!

As kids we all I'm sure loved playing certain games such as "Statue", "Tomato", "Jolly" and so on. How can our kids be any different? They simply love playing "Statue"and "Tomato" and yes I'm the guilty person who started them off on this and unfortunately I seem to be their favorite victim too!

All in a child's play! Here is Paulie in "Statue"and "Tomato" mode. I finally caught up with him on this!

Some fun we have! If you would like to join our fun please email us at hope4hope@gmail.com or call Mr. Pradeep Manchala at +919885528559. We shall be expecting your call :-)

Our Gracious God

God has been gracious; we now have 33 children with us today. .New entrant this year is Kavitha, age– 13. We are also supporting educational expenses for 3 children today.

God has provided amazingly this year too. God sent the same person to pay for the school fees for all children this year too. Praise is to God.   He keeps surprising us time and again.  We are amazed at how God can speak to and convince someone to pay such a big amount for the ministry. All glory and honor be to the Lord.

Our budget for this academic year (i.e.), for the month of June,, for admissions uniforms and books for all 36 children was close to Rs.1,50,000/-

On June 15th we received 1lakh 30 thousand rupees.  God is still in the business of doing miracles, Hallelujah! I felt I should list out all the amounts we receive every month for integrity transparency and for accountability’s sake. Most of all it is God’s money given sacrificially for the ministry. God will hold me accountable for every dime.

Recently I have been missing my father a lot (he passed away when I was 2 yrs), I was thinking if only I had someone whom I could call as father and to look up to, ask for my needs and get things I need and wouldn’t have to worry about anything. God knew what I was thinking and Kavitha joined us 3 days ago. She lost her father two years ago. I could understand the pain she was going through and I want her to know I would be there for her though I couldn’t take her father’s place ever. But I would make sure of providing her care and protection.

She had a fever yesterday and we gave her medicines and she was ready to go to school , she was getting ready accidentally she fell and she came running she put her head on my shoulder and started crying. I wiped her tears and comforted her.

I dropped her at school and informed school authorities she was not well and asked them to take care of her.

I was returning home and suddenly this thought flashed in my mind “He is father to the fatherless and husband to the widows” tears welled up in my eyes and I said “Thank you Lord for being my God. I with all my faults weaknesses and limitedness Am trying to be a father to somebody.” How much more our loving ,caring,, good and faithful God will take care of us, wipe away our tears and also provide for us.

Hmmm I’ll continue… 1 lac 30 thousand received, one sister gave a cheque of Rs.5000/-. She has been planning for the past one year and God made it possible now. It’s the right time for us. Praise God. Another sister gave 1600/- towards bags for children. One friend gave Rs.5000/- for a child’s fees, books and bags and  another friend gave Rs.500/- towards books for one child. Praise God.

God is taking care and is continuously providing for us.

Another friend called and said we could buy 3000/- worth of groceries from a supermarket nearby. Praise God.

Another friend sent a bundle of white cloth to be stitched for the children’s uniform. God is amazing.

Oops I almost forgot one brother asked if I needed money and I wanted to say no because God already planned and provided through someone else. I was not sure whether the cheque would get encashed on time or not and so I said ‘yes’ He said I could come and collect it from his place. Suddenly I remembered that God has already provided the same amount I needed and I immediately called up this brother and said that God has provided a cheque for the same amount. He said we could still take the money and use it till the cheque gets encashed. Praise God! Even when I doubt or have my own fears God Word says “Be still and know that I’m God”. He is same yesterday today and forever.

Praise God. Dear reader I forgot a major miracle. I called one brother to clarify some office issue and he said we was in the middle of prayer and before I hung up he said God has asked me to give you Rs. 40,000/- towards children’s expenses.

What more can one ask from God, when He out of His bountiful riches is providing on time for all the needs we have and also taking care of children’s health. I stand amazed at God’s goodness.

We have shifted our home from HB colony Moul Ali to Nagaram. Its 4 kms from ECIL ‘X’ Road. This place is really good in all aspects. It has a big open ground for children to play, sufficient water, school is at stone throw distance. Amazingly God provided this house. it has been vacant for last 4 years and it’s as though God kept it for us only.

We have been praying and planning about the future of the children. Some of them have never been to school and are slow in learning so we planned to give home schooling for them. But God knew all about whatthe needs of our children and what is best for them. The school they now go to is Dr.Reddy’s Foundation “PUDAMI” Neighborhood School. Its real miracle because they have the same vision, i.e. to give quality education for the children and not for commercial reasons and for sure not in a monotonous (read and recite) method of teaching. They have different programs such as transition program for children who want to move from Telugu medium to English medium also they would assess children based on their ability and would teach them from the basics and place them in a class where they would be able to grasp things and also comprehend.

When we mentioned that we are from an orphanage the Principal was kind enough to grant us concession in admission and monthly fees. Praise God

God arranged all things even before we had planned to move to this new place. Isn’t it great?

Update

Hey there!

After a long haitus..... for all of you who were waiting for news on HOPE.... well here it goes.

We've shifted base from HB Colony, Moula Ali to Satya Narayana Colony, Nagaram. The new location is a bit out of the city and simply ideal for the kids(Post ECIL, Kushaiguda) . It has lush green grounds all around and the best part is that we are free from angry neighbours.

Christmas is coming and as dedicated and acting parents we have decided to provide the kids with bicycles but unfortunately we are unable to generate enough funds for it.

We are also praying for a bigger building. Hoping to get one soon in the same locality.

Currently there are 32 kids.. two below the age of 3... Praveen and Sweety.

Our objective is to provide the kids with a secure life believing and having complete faith in God.

Please pray and bless our efforts in bringing back to the kids their wasted years. Hoping for your blessings, prayers and cooperation in making the dreams of these children come true.

Merry Christmas to all!!

Please feel free to contact the Director,
Pradeep Manchala (Fondly called by me as Choudhry)
