Statue! Tomato!

As kids we all I'm sure loved playing certain games such as "Statue", "Tomato", "Jolly" and so on. How can our kids be any different? They simply love playing "Statue"and "Tomato" and yes I'm the guilty person who started them off on this and unfortunately I seem to be their favorite victim too!

Our Gracious God
God has been gracious; we now have 33 children with us today. .New entrant this year is Kavitha, age– 13. We are also supporting educational expenses for 3 children today.
God has provided amazingly this year too. God sent the same person to pay for the school fees for all children this year too. Praise is to God. He keeps surprising us time and again. We are amazed at how God can speak to and convince someone to pay such a big amount for the ministry. All glory and honor be to the Lord.
Our budget for this academic year (i.e.), for the month of June,, for admissions uniforms and books for all 36 children was close to Rs.1,50,000/-
On June 15th we received 1lakh 30 thousand rupees. God is still in the business of doing miracles, Hallelujah! I felt I should list out all the amounts we receive every month for integrity transparency and for accountability’s sake. Most of all it is God’s money given sacrificially for the ministry. God will hold me accountable for every dime.
Recently I have been missing my father a lot (he passed away when I was 2 yrs), I was thinking if only I had someone whom I could call as father and to look up to, ask for my needs and get things I need and wouldn’t have to worry about anything. God knew what I was thinking and Kavitha joined us 3 days ago. She lost her father two years ago. I could understand the pain she was going through and I want her to know I would be there for her though I couldn’t take her father’s place ever. But I would make sure of providing her care and protection.
She had a fever yesterday and we gave her medicines and she was ready to go to school , she was getting ready accidentally she fell and she came running she put her head on my shoulder and started crying. I wiped her tears and comforted her.
I dropped her at school and informed school authorities she was not well and asked them to take care of her.
I was returning home and suddenly this thought flashed in my mind “He is father to the fatherless and husband to the widows” tears welled up in my eyes and I said “Thank you Lord for being my God. I with all my faults weaknesses and limitedness Am trying to be a father to somebody.” How much more our loving ,caring,, good and faithful God will take care of us, wipe away our tears and also provide for us.
Hmmm I’ll continue… 1 lac 30 thousand received, one sister gave a cheque of Rs.5000/-. She has been planning for the past one year and God made it possible now. It’s the right time for us. Praise God. Another sister gave 1600/- towards bags for children. One friend gave Rs.5000/- for a child’s fees, books and bags and another friend gave Rs.500/- towards books for one child. Praise God.
God is taking care and is continuously providing for us.
Another friend called and said we could buy 3000/- worth of groceries from a supermarket nearby. Praise God.
Another friend sent a bundle of white cloth to be stitched for the children’s uniform. God is amazing.
Oops I almost forgot one brother asked if I needed money and I wanted to say no because God already planned and provided through someone else. I was not sure whether the cheque would get encashed on time or not and so I said ‘yes’ He said I could come and collect it from his place. Suddenly I remembered that God has already provided the same amount I needed and I immediately called up this brother and said that God has provided a cheque for the same amount. He said we could still take the money and use it till the cheque gets encashed. Praise God! Even when I doubt or have my own fears God Word says “Be still and know that I’m God”. He is same yesterday today and forever.
Praise God. Dear reader I forgot a major miracle. I called one brother to clarify some office issue and he said we was in the middle of prayer and before I hung up he said God has asked me to give you Rs. 40,000/- towards children’s expenses.
What more can one ask from God, when He out of His bountiful riches is providing on time for all the needs we have and also taking care of children’s health. I stand amazed at God’s goodness.
We have shifted our home from HB colony Moul Ali to Nagaram. Its 4 kms from ECIL ‘X’ Road. This place is really good in all aspects. It has a big open ground for children to play, sufficient water, school is at stone throw distance. Amazingly God provided this house. it has been vacant for last 4 years and it’s as though God kept it for us only.
We have been praying and planning about the future of the children. Some of them have never been to school and are slow in learning so we planned to give home schooling for them. But God knew all about whatthe needs of our children and what is best for them. The school they now go to is Dr.Reddy’s Foundation “PUDAMI”
When we mentioned that we are from an orphanage the Principal was kind enough to grant us concession in admission and monthly fees. Praise God
God arranged all things even before we had planned to move to this new place. Isn’t it great?
